#MISSION

The Agro-Environmental Foundation Monterrey is a non-profit organization whose mission is to CREATE NATURE-FRIENDLY socio-economic programs, PEDAGOGIES that encourage the HUMAN BEING to rediscover the CONSCIOUSNESS that gave him life, to awaken SPIRITUALLY and to spread UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLES that contribute to the CONSERVATION OF MOTHER EARTH.

Our work as CHILDREN OF THE PACHAMAMA (Mother Earth) includes the whole planet, taking as a starting point the area of Zaragoza-Bitaco in the Valle del Cauca region (Colombia). This place gave us the initial impulse, it is where we have established the Monterrey Agro-Environmental Foundation, which will spread life to all the inhabitants of this blue planet, and where we are dedicated to the preservation of ancestral knowledge, to agriculture, permaculture, horticulture, breeding, beekeeping, vermiculture, ecotourism, dog education and to the practice of traditional sports and games.

#VISION

We are universal beings, united from the same source that created all of us, the mother's womb, the father's wisdom and the son's love. We cry out to the world for an awakening of consciousness, to infinity for the children of your children.

Our task from 2020 to infinity is to help the whole planet remember its common origin and unite with indigenous peoples, in order to create a collective consciousness that reminds us that we all are children of the universe.

It is the only word shared by all the indigenous peoples of Colombia and Latin America; it means “thank you very much” in English.

We have chosen this term as the basis of our program. The Foundation promotes new initiatives for the sustainable development of communities by implementing innovative management practices and by mobilizing new technologies. The Foundation is a platform that stimulates networking and cooperation between a large number of actors: peasants, indigenous communities, coastal communities of Chocó and foreign volunteers. Together, these actors participate in programs of autochthone seeds conservation, crafts, eco-architecture, recycling and reforestation, among others. Today we are more than 70 people united for the development of these programs.
